Lets explore Funchal and its beautiful surroundings. We start at the CR7 and then drive up to one of the most beautiful View points of Funchal called Pico dos Barcelos (355m) with stunning panoramic view over the bay and the city of Funchal. If you desire we can stop here for a bica or a coffee. Thereafter we make a stop at Igreja de Sao Martinho and drive down to the islet Lido with its welcoming park, where you find natural pools, nice Cafés and beautiful views along the coast. On our way down to the historic centre we pass the Casino and the harbour along the Avenida do Mar until we reach the Praça do Município with the Townhall and and the impressive church Igreja de São João Evangelista, which is considered one of the most beautiful and one of the richest churches on the island of Madeira. Our tour ends at the Almirante Reis park where you can enjoy a nice poncha. From there you can walk through unique and famous street Santa Maria full of art or take a ride with the Cable Car to Monte.
